Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a CAR‑T Operations Supervisor in Raritan, NJ to lead daily production of personalized cell therapy within a sterile cGMP environment. This role requires directing multiple CAR‑T units, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to batch records and SOPs.

The position emphasizes hands‑on leadership, shift planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to address issues and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of cGMP biotech/biopharma operations experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA guidance and cleanroom behavior.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise CAR‑T process operations per SOPs and batch records.
• Run daily start of shift meetings and daily wrap‑up meetings; assign tasks.
• Guide production on the floor to ensure safety, quality and compliance.
• Support investigations; create/ revise work instructions, master batch records, forms.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to develop production personnel and performance.
• Build partnerships with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to resolve issues and drive improvements.
