Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent; related college courses desirable.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a correctional setting, one of which was supervisory.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift operations as captain, supervising staff and ensuring inmate safety.
• Develop and implement custody, security, and treatment policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staffing requirements for security supervisors and officers and assess staff effectiveness.
• Prepare records, reports and maintain daily logs.
