Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet seeks a highly experienced pilot to serve as Pilot-in-Command on domestic executive demonstration and customer flights. The role requires extensive Falcon flight hours, current type ratings, and a deep knowledge of FAA regulations.

You will operate with DFJ standards across domestic routes and special demonstrations, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Qualified candidates possess First Class FAA medical certification, significant PIC time, and recommended by the Chief

Qualifications

• Current First Class FAA Medical Certificate is required.
• Type Ratings on current production Falcons.
• 3 years corporate aviation experience.
• 3000 hours of fixed-wing pilot experience.
• 2000 hours PIC experience.
• 1000 hours as sole manipulator of the controls in jet aircraft comparable to Falcons in complexity and performance.
• 400 hours in current production Falcon aircraft as DFJ SIC.
• 50 hours in the specific Falcon type as DFJ SIC.
• Thorough understanding of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Recommendation by Chief Pilot, Operations and approval by Director, Flight Operations based on periodic evaluations and personal observation

Responsibilities

• Act as PIC on domestic executive demonstration flights when assigned.
• Act as PIC on domestic customer support flights and Jump Seat Support flights when assigned.
• Assure that all items necessary for safe, efficient flight are accomplished by self or through delegation to crew.
• Responsible for safety and security of aircraft and crew on all flights for which he/she is designated.
• Pilot in Command.
• Responsible for safety, security and comfort of all passengers while aboard company aircraft.
• Responsible for quality of all demonstration flights for which he/she is designated Pilot in Command.
• Responsible for passenger identification and adherence to all mandates of Dassault Falcon Jet Security Protocol

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Military Flight Training

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Domestic and international flight assignments to include extended time away from home base
• Attendance at air shows, conventions and seminars
• Flexible workdays and hours to accommodate the operational needs of the Flight Department
• Balance and coordination of administrative and flight duties required Flexible work schedule
• Heavy lifting (baggage)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Act as PIC on domestic executive demonstration flights when assigned
• Act as PIC on domestic customer support flights and Jump Seat Support flights when assigned
• Assure that all items necessary for safe, efficient flight are accomplished by self or through delegation to crew
• Responsible for safety and security of aircraft and crew on all flights for which he/she is designated
• Pilot in Command
• Responsible for safety, security and comfort of all passengers while aboard company aircraft

• Responsible for passenger identification and adherence to all mandates of Dassault Falcon Jet Security Protocol

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Attend professional meetings / conferences as directed
• Perform collateral duties as assigned by Chief Pilot, Operations or Director, Flight Operations

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position typically falls between $200,000 and $270,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus or relocation assistance.

Note: the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
