Job summary

The Dinex Group LLC, overseeing Le Pavillon, is seeking an experienced Captain to join the front-of-house team in Midtown Manhattan. You will oversee a specific station, ensure smooth service on the floor, and collaborate with the team to deliver premier fine dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fine dining, strong food and beverage knowledge, and a proven ability to handle high-volume service. Shifts include day, evening, and weekends. Reference checks are required.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of fine dining restaurant experience.
• Desire and dedication to offer premier fine dining experience.
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
• High volume experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a specific station.
• Be present on the floor to make sure that service runs smoothly.
• Serve and clear food in cooperation with the team.
• Communicate well with the team to provide the correct sequence of service.
• Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
• Engage the guests to create positive dining experiences.
• Execute on-going, pre- and post-shift side work.
• Open and close the dining room and beverage station as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu and be prepared to answer any questions from the guest.
