Job summary

Manhatta is seeking a Private Dining Captain to lead service in private dining rooms and sell and steward food and beverage experiences. You will oversee the service team for flawless execution from setup through event completion, and demonstrate mastery of menu knowledge to tailor guest recommendations.

English fluency is preferred and 3+ years in a service role in a similar environment is required. Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 30 lbs is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Service role in a similar environment.
• English fluency preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Lead and execute all assigned events, overseeing the service team for seamless operations and flawless execution from setup through completion.
• Demonstrate mastery of all food and beverage items, and recommend according to guest preferences.
• Follow and lead steps of service with efficiency and urgency.
• Anticipate guest needs and communicate with colleagues, management, and kitchen during service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance before, during and after service.
• Show eagerness to learn and grow.
