Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Dinner Captain for Restaurant R'evolution. You will assist managers in overseeing dinner service, provide guests with exceptional service, and ensure a warm, welcoming environment throughout shifts.

You will maintain knowledge of menus, train new staff, and follow cash-handling and closing procedures while upholding the guest-first service model. A Louisiana server permit and ServSafe certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of wines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow service guidelines according to Brand standards and Service Manual.
• Know and present all Food & Beverage menus; make recommendations.
• Serve courses and relay orders to kitchen; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized service area and handle cash procedures as trained.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and attend all training sessions.
• Support the vision and mission of Restaurant R'evolution and deliver engaging service.
