Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Dinner Captain to assist Managers in overseeing dinner service across our restaurant. You will provide guests with outstanding service, train staff, and ensure clean, welcoming dining rooms.

You’ll be knowledgeable about our Food & Beverage menus, greet guests, take orders, and coordinate with the kitchen to deliver warm, memorable experiences that reflect the Sonesta guest-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing Dinner service and maintain guest-focused service
• Ensure knowledge of all Food and Beverage menus
• Present menus, answer questions, and suggest items to guests
• Coordinate with kitchen to deliver courses and ensure timely service
• Maintain clean, organized service areas and proper cash handling procedures
• Train and mentor new staff and attend ongoing training sessions
• Uphold the GUEST service model and Sonesta standards
