Job summary

Harvard University Central Administration (CADM) is seeking a Project Manager for Capital Projects to manage architecture, design, and construction initiatives across campus. You will lead scope, budget, and schedule, coordinate design teams, consultants, and stakeholders, and ensure delivery from design through closeout.

Strong communication and proven track record in architectural/construction projects required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of architectural, engineering, construction or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Demonstrates understanding of the role and responsibility of a capital project manager for the client and stakeholders in alignment with the larger university mission.
• Demonstrates strong organization, graphic, and presentation skills.
• Experience with design and construction processes and working with diverse constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project scope, budget, and schedule with oversight from Senior Project Manager or Associate Director.
• Lead design and consultant teams and coordinate internal Harvard stakeholders.
• Review design concepts, track submittals, and provide direction through project phases.
• Ensure effective communication and escalation of issues to supervisor and stakeholders.
