Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks a Senior Construction Financial Analyst to oversee daily financial responsibilities for capital construction projects, assist with planning, budgeting, and monthly reporting. The role involves collaboration across OPRP, CAPS, and the CAPS office to manage project controls, contracts, and closeout activities.

The position supports a range of projects from modest to large-scale, with hybrid work on campus and remote options after orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant work experience in financial analysis or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and data-query experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliation of capital construction project costs and A/P adjustments.
• Prepare and analyze the $1.5 billion FAS Capital Construction Plan and provide ad hoc reporting.
• Track funding for equity-financed projects and reconcile with FAS Finance.
• Assist with project controls, contracts, and closeout activities for capital projects.
• Support monthly Executive Summary Reporting for capital projects over $5M.
