Job summary

RFCUNY is seeking a Project Manager to lead design, construction, and management of capital projects for CUNY campuses in New York. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of new buildings, renovations, and essential infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years in design/construction management, strong knowledge of regulations, and experience with project management methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction-related curriculum.
• 5+ years of design and construction management experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience in project management methodologies, planning, cost control, construction economics, cost lifecycle analyses, and financial management.
• Knowledge of building components and construction; familiarity with NYC/NY State codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital-funded construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop conceptual plans and budgets to support fiscal decisions.
• Prepare bid documents and oversee bidding processes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors; manage project teams.
• Provide regular project management reports on scope, schedule, and budget.
