Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; good standing
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week during the summer

Responsibilities

• Support transportation brokerage operations under close supervision
• Gain exposure to market dynamics, carrier negotiation strategies and tools
• Assist in establishing carrier base and achieving optimal margins while delivering service
• Observe how internal stakeholders interact with carriers and communicate service failures to minimize costs
• Learn about J.B. Hunt technology and tools for load management and efficiency
