Qualifications

• Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Junior or Senior level preferred; flexible hours.
• GED/High School diploma listed as education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure and understanding of the transportation industry.
• Participate in daily transportation brokerage activities; verify carrier authenticity, maintain shipment records, monitor freight movement to uphold service expectations.
• Understand market trends, pricing strategies, and capacity challenges to support carrier negotiations and margins.
• Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers; communicate service failures to minimize cost and inefficiencies while delivering service.
