Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience using customer perspective to guide decisions and actions.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to persuade, motivate, influence and negotiate.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain carrier relationships through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
• Learn about carriers’ business goals, preferences, and capabilities to maximize relationships and satisfaction.
• Monitor account activity, identify inactive or underutilized accounts, and reactivate them.
• Leverage technology such as automated booking products and carrier website/apps to enhance carrier satisfaction and efficiency.
• Analyze freight market trends, seasonality, and supply-demand factors to inform pricing decisions.
• Proactively post, negotiate, and secure available capacity to meet customer needs.
• Provide outstanding service by addressing carrier issues promptly and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
