Job summary

Troy University is seeking a Support Technician for Educational Technology to troubleshoot Canvas LMS issues, manage helpdesk requests, and assist students, staff, and faculty. The role supports interfaces with Turnitin, Respondus, NetTutor, and Camtasia, and uses Team Dynamix for ticketing in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a 40-hour work week with flexible hours including weekend coverage, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and related work experience in PC technical support.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures with Learning Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Canvas LMS issues and resolve tickets in a timely manner.
• Complete helpdesk requests and provide support to students, staff and faculty.
• Assist and train students, staff and faculty on Canvas and related tools.
• Install and configure ancillary systems that interface with Canvas LMS (Turnitin, Respondus, NetTutor, Camtasia).
• Utilize Team Dynamix for ticketing to address and resolve technical issues.
