Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and state badging required.
• Interest in cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Familiarity with office equipment and basic software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care.
• Educate customers on cannabis as a wellness product.
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Provide information on product types, methods, and efficacy (not medical advice).
• Stay informed with ongoing cannabis education and training.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pickup.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays.
• Complete POS transactions and update inventory in METRC/BioTrack.
• Other duties as assigned.
