Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, provide educational consulting, and assist with patient record management where required.

You will greet customers, explain cannabis product types, usage methods, and safety regulations, support store operations, ensure order accuracy, and help maintain a clean, compliant retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand federal, state and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care.
• Help customers and patients navigate cannabis and educate them on wellness product usage.
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well with others in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Provide patients and customers with information on product types, methods and efficacy (no medical advice).
• Be open to ongoing cannabis education and training.
• Provide support to managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation/storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pickup.
• Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations per local/state laws.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of inventory.
• Complete transactions at POS and update inventory systems accurately.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned
