Job summary

Verano is hiring a Cannabis Advisor for our Fort Myers Beach location to provide exceptional customer service, educate customers, and assist with product selection. You will handle transactions at the POS and help ensure compliance with state regulations.

The role requires 21+ with retail or hospitality experience, willingness to learn about cannabinoids, and ability to navigate a fast-paced retail environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive attitude and advocate cannabis customer care.
• Educate customers about cannabis products and their uses (no medical advice).
• Stock, merchandise and replenish product displays; maintain clean and organized store front.
• Process POS transactions and ensure METRC/BioTrack inventory accuracy.
