Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring a Cannabis Advisor to greet customers, advocate cannabis customer care, and help patients navigate product options.

You will build rapport with regular customers, educate on product types, methods and efficacy of cannabis items, and support store operations in a fast-paced, compliant retail setting. A high school diploma and 1–2 years retail/hospitality experience are required; 21+ age; undergo background checks and state badging;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and be an advocate of cannabis customer care.
• Help customers navigate cannabis and educate them on product usage as a wellness option.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Assist in a fast-paced retail environment and support store operations.
• Provide information on product types, methods and efficacy (not medical advice).
• Ensure compliance with local and state regulations and maintain a clean workstation.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory systems are updated.
