Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor in Fort Myers Beach, FL. You will greet customers, educate them on cannabis products, and assist with online orders while maintaining a clean, compliant retail environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail or hospitality, at least 21 years old, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications. You will work in a fast-paced team and help manage POS transactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years or older and comply with local/state regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and act as cannabis customer advocate.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and educate on uses (not medical advice).
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and store front.
• Process online orders and verify accuracy before pickup.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations per local/state law.
