Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational guidance in a retail cannabis setting. You will help customers and patients navigate product options, document interactions, and support inventory compliance using METRC and other tracking systems.

A friendly, accurate, and compliant service approach is essential. The role requires readiness to learn about cannabinoids, maintain a tidy store, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience preferred.
Willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications.
Ability to operate computers, printers, and basic software (Word/Excel/email).
Knowledge of applicable state/local cannabis regulations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
Educate customers on cannabis products and usage without medical advice.
Build rapport to promote repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
Process transactions at the POS accurately and manage inventory in METRC/BioTrack.
Maintain clean, organized storefronts and stock displays.
Ensure compliance with state/local regulations and company policies.
