Cresco Labs in Rockford, IL, is seeking a Wellness Advisor for Sunnyside dispensaries to guide customers in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs. You will use your customer service and product knowledge while ensuring state compliance for a best-in-class experience.

You will manage consultations from check-in to checkout, assist with product education, and uphold strict regulatory standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience; retail or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent customer service and engagement skills.
• Ability to learn technical and product information.
• Willingness to learn cannabinoids and their effects on the body.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, and move around the dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide best-in-class experience.
• Verify documentation and IDs.
• Conduct consultations and handle questions or complaints; escalate when needed.
• Build relationships by listening to customer needs.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and their effects.
• Apply selling and cross-selling techniques to build baskets.
• Verify order accuracy and manage bag/receipts.
• Label, package and stock products per compliance.
• Handle cash in POS following SOPs.
• Maintain dispensary records per regulations.
• Perform routine inventory counts.
• Follow security protocols and SOPs.
• Assist with organizing sales floor merch and displays.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and team.
