Job summary

Verano Holdings is seeking an Agent in-Charge for our Wheeling Township dispensary. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, educational consulting for customers, and some patient record management. The position requires inventory accountability and collaboration with the AGM/GM.

The Agent is expected to maintain a clean, organized workstation, assist with product retrieval from vault, and support staff in a fast-paced retail environment while adhering to state and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software, e.g., Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Provide product information and educate customers on cannabis uses (not medical advice).
• Open and close store as directed by management.
• Ensure online orders are accurate before pickup.
• Operate POS and ensure accurate online order updates in state tracking system.
