Job summary

Verano Holdings is seeking an Agent in-Charge for a Las Vegas dispensary to deliver exceptional customer service and assist with educational consulting and patient/customer records. The role includes inventory-focused duties and cash handling under the direction of the AGM.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing inventory, assisting Cannabis Advisors, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software, i.e., Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in regular inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Handle product from the vault and assist Cannabis Advisors for sale.
• Open and close store as directed by the AGM or GM.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage as a wellness product (not medical advice).
• Verify product receipt is properly tagged and paperwork is complete per regulations.
• Support Inventory Manager with reconciliation of inventory in state tracking and POS systems.
• Ensure online orders are completed and accurate prior to pick-up.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and storefront.
• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure state inventory updates are accurate.
