Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Okemos, Michigan seeks a motivated Retail Representative to deliver outstanding customer care in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting.

You will learn product details and promotions, operate the POS, upsell thoughtfully, and work with store leadership to ensure a friendly, compliant shopping experience.

Must be 21+, have a high school diploma or GED, and enjoy a collaborative team environment with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality.
• Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications.
• Cannabis industry and/or health industry experience highly desirable.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each customer, provide product knowledge, and conduct transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize suggestive selling strategies and upsell customers on products and promotions.
• Record transactions accurately in the POS system and ensure cash drawer accuracy.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed and follow attendance policy.
• Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor.
• Follow JARS policies and procedures in all interactions.
