Job summary

Vireo Health of Rocky Mountain is seeking a Shift Lead at Everest Cannabis Co in Las Cruces, NM. You will ensure smooth store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and support cash handling and inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment.

As a non-supervisory role, you’ll assist the Store Director and Assistant Manager while upholding policies and procedures. Prior retail or cannabis product knowledge is a plus, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis and its products is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
• Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a friendly and welcoming experience, assisting them as needed.
• Offer product information and guidance, answering questions and helping customers find suitable products.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, striving to ensure their satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to create an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the team to suggest improvements based on customer feedback.
• Assist with returns and exchanges, ensuring a hassle-free process for customers.
• Train staff on cash handling and transaction procedures.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance to improve cash flow and financial efficiency.
• Monitor inventory and assist restocking; support promotions and trend analysis.
