Job summary

The Cannabist Company, operating as Columbia Care, seeks a Shift Lead to support store leadership and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting. You will coach staff, oversee daily tasks, and ensure compliance with SOPs and internal processes.

You will drive sales, share product knowledge, and help resolve customer issues while upholding company values and delivering a positive experience for guests and team members alike.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems is required.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ability to coach and influence others.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership in achieving sales goals and business growth.
• Lead by example and promote a service-minded retail environment.
• Demonstrate cannabis product knowledge and guide customers for a positive experience.
• Open/close the store and assign tasks to meet business needs.
• Coach and train staff on retail tasks including intake, sales, inventory, and POS.
• Provide timely coaching and escalate employee concerns to leadership.
