C3 Industries in Missouri is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver world-class customer service and drive sales through product recommendations and upselling. You will guide customers through cannabis selections that fit their needs and ensure a smooth checkout.

This role requires 1+ year of customer service, familiarity with POS and cash handling, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Candidates must be 21+ and able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPIs regularly.
• Effective multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of state/local regulations is preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a background check.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to customers by making their experience the top priority.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion goals as defined by store leadership.
• Greet customers upon entry and verify identification.
• Assist customers with questions on state-required forms; update information in the system.
• Maintain the waiting room and stock the sales floor.
• Educate customers on cannabis properties and proper genetics selections.
• Fill online orders quickly and accurately.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on cannabis trends.
• Accurately use and maintain the POS system.
• Comply with cash handling policies and perform daily cash management.
• Assist with product intake, inventory counts, and audits.
• Collaborate with management to increase sales and foot traffic.
• Support compliance with policies and regulations.
