Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Buchanan, MI is seeking an Agent in Charge to lead daily retail operations at our cannabis store, greeting customers, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

You will manage POS transactions, support Cannabis Advisors, open/close the store, and maintain a clean, organized front-end while delivering education on cannabis products within safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends and holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment and their included software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Provide product from vault to Cannabis Advisor for sale and verify tagging.
• Support Inventory Manager with reconciliation and state tracking system updates.
• Handle POS transactions, cash drops, and daily payouts per direction.
• Educate customers on cannabis products while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Open and close store as directed and maintain a clean front of house.
