Job summary

Verano is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage vault and back-of-house inventory in Buchanan, MI. You will own cycle counts, investigate variances, and ensure proper labeling and paperwork in compliance with state and local regulations. You will generate leadership-facing reports and collaborate with Cannabis Advisors.

The role requires attention to detail, basic Excel skills, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product handling in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and compliance with local, state and company regulations.
• Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and safety practices is a plus.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain all vault/back-of-house inventory operations.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances with root cause analysis.
• Ensure FIFO compliance and organized storage systems.
• Reconcile inventory with POS/state tracking systems and generate reports.
• Provide support to managers and Cannabis Advisors.
