Job summary

Verano is seeking an Agent in-Charge to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a cannabis retail setting. The role includes inventory oversight (about 30%), supporting staff, and ensuring accurate product records and paperwork in line with state regulations.

This position emphasizes customer care and education, collaboration with Cannabis Advisors, and strict adherence to local compliance and POS systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software, i.e., Word, Excel, email, etc.
Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and education to customers and patients.
Help manage inventory and maintain accurate records for inventory activity (30%).
Assist Cannabis Advisors with product or POS System questions and support staff as needed.
Open/close the store as directed by leadership and ensure proper cash handling.
Ensure online orders are accurate and ready for pickup.
Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized workstation and front of store.
Comply with state tracking and POS systems to update inventory levels.
