Job summary

MUV is seeking an Agent in-Charge to deliver outstanding customer service, educational consulting, and accurate patient records where applicable. The role includes inventory responsibilities and supervising staff under the AGM’s direction in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting.

The position requires 2+ years in retail/hospitality, a 21+ age minimum, and readiness to learn industry regulations while engaging customers about cannabis products and their uses as wellness items. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product use.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to operate office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Handle cannabis product from vault to sales staff for distribution.
• Educate customers on cannabis products as wellness items (not medical advice).
• Open/close store as directed by AGM or GM.
• Ensure accurate tagging and paperwork with state/local regulations.
• Reconcile physical inventory with state tracking and POS systems.
• Verify online orders before pickup and support product/ POS inquiries.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote return visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized storefront.
