Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Retail Representative who delivers exceptional customer care while promoting our cannabis products and promotions. You will work closely with store leadership to meet guest needs, demonstrate product knowledge, and ensure accurate transactions.

The role requires standing for long periods, weekend availability, and a willingness to learn through JARS University training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service in retail/sales/hospitality.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains and applications.
• Cannabis industry experience desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs, provide product knowledge, and process transactions accurately.
• Suggestive selling and upsell customers on products and promotions.
• Accept coaching from upper management and follow leadership directions.
• Assist with inventory tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and attend to customers promptly.
• Record transactions in the POS system and manage cash drawer accurately.
• Open and close duties as required and adhere to attendance policy.
• Escalate customer issues to management when appropriate.
