Job summary

JARS Cannabis is seeking a Retail Representative in Saugatuck, Michigan to deliver exceptional customer care and deepen knowledge of our cannabis products, deals, and promotions. Training through JARS University ensures policy and culture are understood, with daily duties across customer service, sales, and store operations.

The role reports to the General Manager, requires several shifts including nights and weekends, and offers employee benefits and growth opportunities within a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail or hospitality.
• Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications.
• Cannabis industry and/or health industry experience highly desirable.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each customer, provide product knowledge, and conduct each transaction with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize suggestive selling strategies and upsell customers on products and promotions.
• Accept constructive criticism and coaching from upper management.
• Assist with inventory tasks when needed.
• Follow safety and CRA rules and policies.
• Record transactions accurately in the POS system and manage cash drawer.
