Job summary

JARS Cannabis is seeking a Retail Representative to provide exceptional customer care and product knowledge in our Michigan dispensary. You will work closely with store leadership and report to the General Manager, delivering personalized service and driving promotions.

Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of customer service in retail, an understanding of cannabis products, and the ability to handle POS transactions efficiently while maintaining compliance and a friendly, welcoming

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment.
• Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each customer, provide appropriate product knowledge, and conduct each transaction with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize suggestive selling strategies and actively upsell customers on products and promotions.
• Record transactions accurately in the POS system, use appropriate login credentials, and ensure the accuracy of the assigned cash drawer.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Follow and integrate JARS company policies and procedures in all on-the-job interactions, tasks, and behaviors.
