Job summary

710 Labs is seeking a Packaging Technician for the Oakland, CA facility to support the Packaging Manager in day-to-day operations. The role focuses on preparing bulk cannabis extract for retail, packaging jars and accessories, and maintaining meticulous records in a fast-paced production setting.

You will work in a cold environment (30-40F), handle inventory and QC processes, and participate in ongoing education. The position offers full-time hours with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desired.
• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and in writing.
• Strong number skills and basic math; inventory experience is desired.
• Detail oriented with focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying conditions.
• Comfortable working in cold environments (30-40F) for extended periods.
• Able to sit, squat, stand, kneel, bend, or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean packaging materials such as boxes, jars, lids, and equipment.
• Package and fill jars of water hash, rosin, disposable vaporizers, and pods.
• Clean equipment and packaging facility regularly.
• Maintain paper records of product grams, boxed items, and discrepancies.
• Record details relevant to packaging and inventory.
• Follow QC protocols in the department.
• Store supplies and equipment and manage waste disposal.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members.
