Job summary

Made By A Farmer is seeking a Packaging Technician to support the Packaging Manager in daily cannabis product packaging and labeling. The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and adherence to safety standards in a structured production environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production, is detail-oriented, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Shift is 1st Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with competitive pay and benefits in Ann Arbor, MI.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production/manufacturing (highly desired).
• Available to work 1st Monday-Friday shift (8:00am-4:30pm).
• Experience in cannabis industry a plus.
• Detail-oriented with focus on process improvement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean packaging materials (boxes, jars, lids, equipment).
• Package jars with cannabis products and cap/box carts.
• Operate and maintain automated gummy pouching lines.
• Maintain clean, safe packaging area; proper waste disposal.
• Record-keeping of packaging, inventory, and production details.
• Ensure GMP, GLP, HACCP compliance and follow SOPs.
