Job summary

Mint Cannabis is seeking an HR Generalist to support the business by auditing policies, running reports, and building dashboards. The role acts as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.

You will manage workers’ compensation processes, HRIS data accuracy, and confidential records, while leading compliance initiatives across multiple states. Occasional travel and onboarding/offboarding support are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 3+ years progressive HR experience with 2+ years in senior HR leadership.
• Employment law, employee relations, investigations, HRIS, compensation, benefits, leave administration, performance management, workforce planning, analytics.

Responsibilities

• Audit policies and support policy enhancements across the organization.
• Run reports, create dashboards, and manage implementations for HR processes.
• Advise managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
• Lead workers’ compensation processes, including claim intake, carrier communication, incident tracking, and return-to-work coordination.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy, run reports, and manage confidential employee records.
• Lead compliance initiatives across multiple states with audits and regulatory updates.
• Mentor HR team members and provide training in employee relations, payroll, and benefits.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and general HR operations as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HR practices align with federal, state, local, and cannabis industry regulations.
