Job summary

JARS Cannabis is seeking a friendly, tech-savvy Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. Responsibilities include patient registration, POS check-ins, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience while adhering to Michigan CRA requirements.

Successful candidates will complete JARS University training, with opportunities to support store operations and promotions, including loyalty programs and daily specials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of customer service in retail or hospitality.
• 1 year of front desk/administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Verify customers' legal age and register new customers in the POS system.
• Check purchasing allotments at check-in.
• Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and promote the brand.
• Answer calls with professional etiquette and provide product information.
• Ensure Michigan and CRA compliance in interactions.
• Perform opening, mid-day, and closing tasks and maintain the reception area.
