Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Saginaw, Michigan is seeking a friendly, tech-savvy Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers. You will check in patients per state CRA requirements, create patient profiles, and assist where needed in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Successful candidates will undergo training through JARS University, and will contribute to a positive store atmosphere while promoting the JARS Loyalty Program and daily promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service in retail, sales, or hospitality.
• 1 year of front desk or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and follow-up skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify customers' legal age requirements and register new customers in the POS system.
• Check customer purchasing allotments through the POS system at check-in.
• Promote the JARS brand and create a welcoming store experience.
• Welcome guests with a positive, upbeat demeanor and proper greetings.
• Assist with curbside and online orders when needed.
• Answer calls with professional phone etiquette and provide product information.
• Maintain Michigan CRA compliance in interactions with patients and staff.
• Perform opening, mid-day, and closing tasks and keep the reception area tidy.
