Job summary

JARS Cannabis is seeking a friendly, tech‑savvy Receptionist in Owosso, MI to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will check in customers, verify age, assist with curbside and online orders, and maintain a welcoming store ambience.

You will learn through JARS University and help drive brand promotion, daily specials, and store hours information while ensuring Michigan CRA compliance and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail, sales, or hospitality environment.
• 1 year of front desk or administrative experience.
• Must be 21+ and able to meet state CRA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify customers' legal age and register new customers in the POS system.
• Check purchasing allotments and greet customers warmly.
• Promote the JARS brand and drive loyalty program participation.
• Perform opening, mid-day, and closing tasks and maintain the reception area.
