Job summary

Garden Remedies Inc. in Marlborough, MA is hiring a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and cannabis knowledge in our adult-use dispensary.

As part of a team, you will be the main contact for patients, navigate the POS system, manage inventory, and ensure MA regulatory compliance while educating customers on products and dosing. This is a full-time, non-exempt role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 21+ years old; cannabis knowledge and awareness of industry trends.
• Minimum of three years of retail experience in a team environment.
• Familiar with online databases, POS inventory, and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level boutique customer service that exceeds customers’ expectations.
• Accurately utilize the POS system, inventory management and MA state databases.
• Follow and execute compliant practices adhering to state regulations and GRI’s SOPs.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented environment rooted in education.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry and GRI’s products.
• Engage with consumers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Explain benefits and dosing methods in a clear, comprehensible manner.
• Maintain knowledge of MA compliance and purchasing limits.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and well merchandised.
