Job summary

Bud's Goods & Provisions in Worcester, MA is hiring a Sales Associate - Cannabis Budtender to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will guide guests through product choices, answer questions, and complete compliant cannabis transactions with accuracy, while upholding all company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will learn the menu, stay informed about promotions, and maintain a welcoming, hospitality-driven environment on the sales floor, including cash handling and POS usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent - required
• One or more years of work experience - required
• Retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience - preferred
• Cannabis industry experience - preferred
• Cash-handling experience - preferred
• Experience using POS or other retail technology - preferred
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills - required

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a friendly, professional & hospitality-driven approach
• Guide guests through the retail experience & help them navigate available cannabis products
• Listen to guest needs & preferences & provide appropriate product information
• Maintain knowledge of products, brands & promotions on the menu
• Educate guests on product types, consumption methods, storage requirements & other information
• Complete guest transactions accurately & efficiently through the POS system
• Help maintain guest flow during high- & low-volume periods
• Represent Bud's values & brand professionally in every interaction
