Job summary

Green Thumb in Massachusetts is seeking a friendly Personal Care Specialist to engage with patients and customers in our dispensary, guiding them to the right products and methods of consumption. You’ll educate shoppers on product use, safety, and compliance while delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires reliable attendance, flexibility across mornings, days, nights and weekends, and the ability to operate a POS system and handle inventory.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance; must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Recommend safe and effective regimens using product knowledge and stay up to date on regulations.
• Maintain a positive, patient-focused store environment and support management.
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy and assist in daily store operations.
