Sunnyside* in Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated Dispensary Supervisor to manage daily store operations in compliance with state law and company standards. You will direct staff workflows, oversee opening/closing, and handle customer escalations while upholding our mission to normalize and professionalize cannabis.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training of Wellness Advisors, and ensuring top-notch customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in customer service.
• 1+ year experience leading or mentoring a team; cannabis experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

• Regularly perform store opening and closing procedures and inventory reporting.
• Facilitate training and onboarding of Lead Wellness Advisors and Wellness Advisors.
• Respond to all employee questions and communicate team resource requirements to management.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback for performance concerns; document and elevate issues.
• Direct the workflow of the team by creating morning rosters and delegating daily responsibilities.
• Ensure team compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local laws.
• Manage escalated customer concerns and respond to complex product questions.
• Investigate cash, POS or product discrepancies and escalate appropriately.
• Troubleshoot POS system glitches to minimize downtime.
• Verify inventory counts and cash deposit totals; reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory of marketing assets (fliers, merch, promos).
• Ensure a clean and safe environment; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
