Job summary

SUNNYSIDE in the United States is seeking a Dispensary Supervisor to lead a team, manage training, and ensure compliance with cannabis regulations and store policies. You will coach staff, oversee daily operations, and support sales goals while maintaining a safe guest experience.

Key duties include onboarding, inventory control, coaching on selling techniques, and resolving issues promptly. The role requires strong communication and a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in customer service.
• 1+ year experience leading or mentoring a team; cannabis experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

• Regularly perform store opening and closing procedures during non-peak periods.
• Facilitate training and onboarding of Lead Wellness Advisors and Wellness Advisors.
• Respond to all employees' questions and communicate team resource needs to management.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback for performance concerns; document issues promptly.
• Direct the workflow by creating morning rosters and daily responsibilities.
• Ensure team compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws.
• Manage escalated customer concerns and complex product questions.
• Investigate cash, POS or product discrepancies and record findings.
• Troubleshoot POS system issues or glitches.
• Verify inventory counts and cash deposit totals; reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory of marketing assets and promotional materials.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment; lift up to 50 pounds (100 with assistance).
