Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Personal Care Specialist for our Minnesota dispensary. You will engage customers, educate on products and dosing methods, and recommend safe regimens tailored to individual needs. Maintain a welcoming retail environment and ensure compliance with cannabis regulations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service experience, be 21+, and pass background checks. A flexible schedule including weekends is required; prior cannabis experience is not necessary.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends)
• Must have reliable attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must comply with all cannabis industry regulations
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients/customers in a customer-facing retail environment
• Educate on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend safe and effective regimens based on product knowledge
• Promote a positive, patient/customer-oriented store environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Support management to ensure store operations are compliant and smooth
• Enforce local/state cannabis regulations and maintain store standards
• Maintain stocked and present sales floor; manage back-of-house duties as needed
• Follow security and safety procedures
• Complete duties at assigned workstations during shifts (Front of House, Back of House, Maintenance)
