Job summary

Green Thumb is hiring a Personal Care Specialist to engage customers in our cannabis retail setting and guide them to the right products and methods of use. You will educate customers, maintain product knowledge, and help ensure compliant store operations.

The role requires strong customer service and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must be able to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Knowledge of cannabis laws and safety regulations is helpful.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of interactions.
• Recommend safe, effective regimens based on individual needs and maintain product knowledge.
• Promote a positive, customer-oriented store environment.
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy.
• Support store operations to run smoothly and compliantly.
• Ensure cannabis regulations are properly enforced and upheld.
• Keep sales floor stocked and store appearance maintained.
• Maintain hard copy files as required.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
