Job summary

Green Thumb is hiring a Personal Care Specialist to engage with patients and customers in our dispensary, providing friendly, knowledgeable product guidance and ensuring safe usage.

You will educate customers, assist with orders, support store operations, and uphold cannabis regulations. Prior retail or customer service experience preferred; must be 21+ and able to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
• Must be able to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
• Educate on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient and/or customer’s needs and stay up to date on product knowledge
• Promote a positive, communicative, patient/customer-oriented store environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Support management to ensure store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations
