Job summary

DCM Inc. is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across DC and Maryland cultivation, operations, and retail locations. You will conduct audits, assess controls, support regulatory inspections, and drive corrective actions with site leadership.

The role requires 5+ years in operations management in regulated environments and 3–5 years in compliance or auditing within cannabis. Travel to facilities in DC and Maryland is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 5 years operations management experience in a multi-site or regulated environment.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, regulatory operations, cannabis operations, investigations, or related field.
• Ability to travel regularly between District Cannabis facilities in Washington, DC and Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits across District Cannabis cultivation facilities, operational sites, and retail dispensaries in Washington, DC and Maryland.
• Review internal controls and documentation to identify risks and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
• Support facility readiness for internal and external regulatory inspections.
• Document findings, escalation of significant compliance concerns, and follow-up with leadership.
• Provide compliance guidance, coaching, and training based on audit findings and regulatory changes.
