Job summary

vallenext is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across U.S. and Canada operations. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, responsibilities include processing bi-weekly payroll, maintaining time systems, and preparing year-end tax forms.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in payroll/HR Shared Services, expertise with ADP Workforce Now, and strong Excel skills, with a focus on confidentiality and efficiency in a multi-provincial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field with 3–5 years in payroll/HR shared services.
• Experience: 3+ years with payroll and time software, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism; able to handle sensitive pay data.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll, including hours, incentives, and special pay scenarios.
• Maintain and update time systems and prepare year-end tax slips (T4s, T2200s).
• Perform ADP Workforce Now Reporting and reconcile remittances.
